Blue Montana Gold (A.K.A. Silver) AQHA Grullo Gelding - 15 Hands Tall Gelded September 2008
Due to a variety of cirucumstances Silver was gelded. I do have my days of regret but, what is done is done..and Silver is an awesome gelding. I am having a blast riding Silver right now.. so I do not currently plan to sell him.. unless its for a very generous offer. ....Offers will be considered...I have kept a 2009 Grullo stud colt sired by Silver and out of Chexy Dun Lady sired by Eds Little Whiskey by Paddys Irish Whiskey. If you are interested in breeding to a spectacular grullo stud colt in a few years keep him in mind.

Silver carries the Sabino Gene. To the best of my calculations Silver is 88.28% Foundation Quarter Horse Silver has lots of size and a nice heavy bone, gorgeous head and high withers. I chose Silver as my next stallion because of his beautiful head and conformation as well as his size. I wanted a stallion with lots of foundation bred cow bloodlines with enough speed to rope a steer or run barrels. Since my mares have lots of Doc Bar, Mr San Peppy, Peppy San Badger & Poco Bueno bloodlines I felt this would be the perfect compliment to their pedigree and give me a new outcross and retain the superb cow sense and athletic ability that my program demands. Silvers pedigree includes horses with AAA status several earning 100 Speed Index's, his pedigree is also full of halter and performance winners and don't forget the AQHA Champions in his pedigree such as Mr Chant Bob who had a 95 Speed Index earned 50 Halter points & won 13 performance points and was named Canadian Cow Horse Sire of the year for multiple years. Check out his incredible dun factoring:
